CARIBOU – Priscilla G. Foley, 73, passed away July 6, 2019 at Bangor. She was born May 2, 1946 in Edmundston, NB, Canada the daughter of Donald T. and Gilberte (St-Onge) Ryan. On December 26, 1967 she married Robert Foley. Priscilla earned a Bachelors of Education at the University of New Brunswick at Fredericton, and then studied special education at Fort Kent. She was a school teacher in both Van Buren and Edmundston, and also taught GED classes for a number of years. Priscilla was a faithful communicant of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, Daughters of Isabella, and the Catholic Golden Age. She was also a longtime member of T.O.P.S. Surviving in addition to her husband of 51 years, Robert, of Caribou, is their son, Chad Foley and wife Linda, of Orrington, her sister, Linda Compton, of Alexandria, LA, a very special granddaughter, Alyssa and husband Kyle Oliver, a great-grandson, Jaxson Oliver, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, Donald, in 2007, and a sister, Barbara Rioux. Friends may call Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6 to 8pm, and Thursday morning from 9am until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Following the services all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the parish center.
