Caribou-Floyd Charles Parker 94, died April 25, 2013 at Houlton. He was born in Connor July 7, 1918 the son of the late Charles and Sybil (West) Parker. Mr. Parker was a self-employed woodsman and was also employed by Sutherland Farms for many years. He married the late Ivy Holmes Parker and she predeceased him in 2005. Floyd loved to tend his gardens and was an avid snowmobiler and also loved to four wheel. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the camps he built. He is survived by his grandchildren; Penny Bernard and her husband Joe of Fort Fairfield, and Todd Parker and his wife Sherri of Woodland. Great grandchildren; Alexis and Kay-Lee Parker and Jonah and Sare’ Bernard. Many nieces and nephews including a special niece Virginia Philbrick and a special nephew Stanley Dubey. Special family friends Floyd and Gloria Burby and Allie. Mr. Parker was predeceased by two sons, Dana and Lloyd and a daughter in law Patricia, his brothers and sisters, Lela Pelkey, Marjorie Gagnon, Annie Lister, Dwinal Parker, Charlie Parker and Addie Dubey. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 12 noon Saturday April 27, 2013 until time of services. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Thomas Bentum, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
