Elizabeth Fox

Caribou - Elizabeth Ann Devoe Fox, 68 died October 2, 2023 at her Caribou residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mars Hill August 31, 1955 the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Socoby) Devoe. Elizabeth was a graduate of Central Aroostook High School and she married Wayne Fox Sr. on January 10, 1975. She was employed by several area potato processing plants as well as being a custodian at the Caribou Schools for a number of years. Elizabeth was very proud of her Native American heritage and her Passamaquoddy roots. Surviving in addition to her husband Wayne of Caribou are three sons: Todd Cochran, Wayne Fox Jr. and Elijah Simon and her daughter Sheana Caron all of Caribou. One brother, Clifford Devoe of Princeton. Thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fox was predeceased by siblings, Alfred Devoe, Louis Devoe, Annette Devoe, Diane Devoe, Rosie Sock and Annie Sock. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family and participate in traditional Native American burial rituals at the family home, 537 River Road, Caribou beginning at 8:00 am on Thursday, October 5, 2023 and concluding at 8:00 am Saturday.
