Her children were a source of great pride to her as were her four grandchildren. She was always interested in their lives and was quick to share stories about them with her friends. Elaine and Scotty spent many years enjoying their cottage on Grand Manan Island, a place that beckoned everyone to stop by and enjoy her home-made bread and muffins along with a game of cribbage and a cup of her delicious fish chowder. Elaine was an avid bridge player and enjoyed more than 40 years of friend ship with the “girls” of her bridge club. She graciously welcomed friends, family and strangers into their home, providing amazing meals and easy conversation filled with laughter and genuine friendship.
