After Honorably finishing his enlistment, he moved from Washburn settling in Connor Twp Maine; He would continue at Loring for 36 years employed as a civilian for the 42nd Civil Engineering Squadron until 1987. It is in Maine where he and Pricilla would meet, marry, and raise their family. Together he and Priscilla lived a life of love, compassion and understanding. After Priscilla’s passing, Earnest relocated from Maine with his son to Murrieta CA.

A lifelong passion for learning and great conversation Earnest gathered many friends spanning multiple generations. He always had a deep passion for learning something new every day, teaching as well to those close to him along the way. He enjoyed dancing, listening to people, listening to music, family gatherings, anything outdoors, cooking, technology, and just hanging out having conversations telling stories into the early mornings with friends and family. His beaming smile would instantly illuminate a room; His words those to live by.  “WHO HAS MORE FUN THAN PEOPLE?” “MORE PEOPLE!”
