Dorothy A. Saunders

FORT FAIRFIELD and CARIBOU – Dorothy A. Saunders, 66, died April 4, 2023 at the Aroostook House of Comfort. She was born in Caribou, September 28, 1956. Dorothy was a graduate of Easton High School. She married Rodney Saunders, July 14, 1984. She was employed as an accounting technician at the Defense Finance Accounting Service in Limestone for many years. Dottie is survived by her son, Rodney “Chip” Saunders II and partner Heather Jordan, of Presque Isle, her beautiful granddaughter, Ella Jane Saunders, whom she cherished, two “adopted” granddaughters, Emma Jordan and Nevaeh Hendrickson, two sisters, Beatrice Caron, and Obeline Morrill both of Caribou, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Saunders was predeceased by her husband, Rodney, in 2017, and her mother, Beatrice (Bolstridge) Plourde. Friends may visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 12 Noon until time of services which will be held at 1PM from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ron Rosser officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
