Caribou-Doris Marie Theresa LaFlamme, 85 wife of the late Stanley LaFlamme, died May 7, 2013 at her Caribou residence. She was born in Caribou October 27, 1927 the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Sirois) LaFlamme. Mrs. LaFlamme was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was a member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW, the Henry B. Pratt Post 15 American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries, and she volunteered many hours at the Caribou Veterans Home. She is survived by three sons; Norman LaFlamme of Myrtle Beach, S.C, David LaFlamme and his wife Paula of Caribou and Roland LaFlamme and his wife Susan of Whitefield. Her daughter Shirley Holtgrefe and her husband Lee of Caribou. Nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. LaFlamme was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 2003, brothers, Earl, Camille, Lawrence, Roland, Norris and Norman Guerrette. Three sisters, Dorothy Guerrette, Rita Nadeau and Florence Hardy. Friends may visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 10:00am Friday until time of services where memorial services will be held 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
