Denise R. McCormack, 59, went home to be with the lord, October 30, 2024 in Caribou as her work on earth was done. She was born in Caribou, February 4, 1965 the fifth child of the late Dennis and Jeannette (Corbin) Gagnon Junior. Denise often commented on how fortunate she was to have amazing parents, who taught them work hard, spend wisely, and know right from wrong. Holidays were the best; everyone would gather at Mom and Dad’s. She was a graduate of Caribou High School class of 1984. Following graduation, she took several accounting classes which she utilized in various occupations early on. She was then blessed to be a stay-at-home Mom for 15 years to her two amazing sons. After the children were in school full-time, she was employed at Woodland Consolidated School, which she truly enjoyed. As the children grew older, she went on a new adventure and was employed at DFAS Loring. She married the love of her life Pat McCormack on August 6, 1994. Her children and husband were the light of her life, anyone that was fortunate enough to know Denise knew her family was everything. Surviving in addition to her husband Pat of Woodland, are two sons, Joshua McCormack and Matthew McCormack and his significant Matigan Dow, her loving dog Tabby, two sisters and best friends, Cindy Wilcox and husband Russell of Caribou, Linda Gagnon and husband Darrell of Plant City, Florida, her mother-in-law, Rose Malm of Caribou, brother-in-law Joe Pignatiello of Wade, brother-in-law Christopher Malm and wife Gracey of Holden, sister-in-law Cathy Gray and husband Brian of Saco, some very special friends, Alice Philbrick of Caribou-"bring the burdocks", Orin Mcbreairty of Perham, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also has some very special friends whom she grew very close to from her time at DFAS, Raylene Shaw, Lisa St. Peter, Erica Holmes, Jamie Labreck, and all the DFAS staff that helped and were fortunate enough to meet and work with Denise along the way. She was predeceased by her parents Dennis and Jeannette Gagnon, brothers Dale Gagnon Sr., Frank Gagnon Sr., and a sister, Janet Pignatiello.
