Denise A. Bell

April 3, 1941 — February 23, 2021

CARIBOU – Denise A. Bell, 79, passed away February 23, 2021 at the Maine Veteran’s Home in Caribou after a long courageous battle with alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada, April 3, 1941 the daughter of Alexander and Gabrielle (LePage) Angers. On May 5, 1962 she married the love of her life David V. Bell, together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed camping and fishing with them as often as was possible. She was a woman of many talents and there wasn’t much she couldn’t do. She was employed as an office manager, most recently at Web Impressions a business that she started with her son and helped it to grow into a successful venture they did together. Mrs. Bell was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Denise is survived by her husband, David of Caribou, their children, Renee M. Bell and friend Jerry Kinney of Pensacola, FL, Kathleen Susee and husband Terry, David A. Bell and wife Carrie, all of Caribou, brothers, Jean Claude Angers and wife Joan of Fredericton, NB, Jean Pierre Angers of Edmundston, NB, Francois Angers and wife Rolande, of Edmundston, NB, a sister, Colette Cyr and husband Roy of Edmundston, NB, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank all of the wonderful nursing staff from Care and Comfort and Professional Home Nursing that helped us so much to keep her at home for as long as we could and also to the staff at Maine Veterans Home for the wonderful care and compassion that they exhibited during her short stay there. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the ME Veteran’s Home, 163 Van Buren Rd, Caribou, ME 04736 or Maine Alzheimer's Association, 383 US Route 1 #2C, Scarborough, ME 04074. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou this spring, to be determined at a later date.
