Darrell H. Stubbs

WOODLAND – Darrell H. Stubbs, 73, passed away March 11, 2020 in Presque Isle after a period of declining health. He was born in Woodland, November 6, 1946 the son of Henry and Lula (Cheviot) Stubbs. Darrell was a Caribou High School graduate, and worked as a milkman, delivering milk for Grant’s Dairy for over 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors with his family. Darrell is survived by his loving wife of over 52 years, Diane (Cyr) Stubbs of Woodland, their children, Lisa Antworth and husband Rick of Mars Hill, Wanda Stubbs and fiancé John Dougherty of Mapleton, Tamara Jordan and husband David of Presque Isle, Scott Stubbs and wife Tanya of Caribou, a sister, Sharon Pete and husband Merton of Woodland, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Joyce Prestwood, a brother,  Ronald Stubbs, and a grandson, Jeremiah Stubbs. Friends may visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 3pm until time of services which will be held at 4pm from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. David Goupille officiating. Following the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Washburn Road, Caribou. Spring interment will take place in the Woodland Cemetery.
