Danny W. Lapointe

MASARDIS – Danny W. LaPointe, 68, passed away January 11, 2020 in Bangor after a brief illness. He was born October 13, 1951 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Adrian and Mary Lou (Ardine) LaPointe. Danny worked at the mill in Masardis for a number of years, but his true passion was for the outdoors. He was a Registered Maine Guide, who loved hunting, fishing, and trapping. Danny was a people person who enjoyed all the people he met while guiding. On September 5, 1987 he married Margaret Theresa Soucier, and together they shared 32 years of marriage. Danny is survived by his wife, Margaret LaPointe of Masardis, his mother, Mary Lou, of Saco, two step-children, Travis Chapman and wife Kellie of Presque Isle, and Jolie Chapman of Bangor, 6 grandchildren, his brothers, David LaPointe and wife Kristie of Charlestown, RI, Jeffrey LaPointe of Charlotte, NC, and a sister, Lori Bryant and husband Jon of Saco, a sister-in-law, Sheril LaPointe, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Adrian LaPointe, and three brothers, Tom, Gary, and Jimmy LaPointe.
