Caribou – Elda Mary Crouch, 97, died February 3, 2024 at Presque Isle. She was born in Caribou, April 8, 1926, the daughter of the late Mack and Ozithe (Cote) Belanger. She was a graduate of Caribou High School and was employed by several area department stores. Mrs. Crouch was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Lister Knowlton Post 9389 VFW. She is survived by her children, Mark Crouch of Caribou, Nancy Crouch of Freeport and Brek Hamilton of Pittsfield, her grandchildren Mark Crouch Jr., Jason Crouch, Robert Crouch, Matthew Crouch and Michael Belmain, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Private family services will be held in the spring at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home.
