Caribou-Clarence J. Dubay, 84 died January 24, 2015 at Caribou. He was born in Caribou February 19, 1930 the son of the late Joseph and Anne Marie (Baron) Dubay. He was a graduate of Caribou High School and on July 2, 1951 he married Alouida Chasse. Mr. Dubay served with the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Henry Pratt Post 15 American Legion. Clarence was employed by the Civil Engineering Squadron at Loring Air Force Base for many years. He was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he served on the Parish Council for over thirty years. Mr. Dubay was also a fourth degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council 1870 Knights of Columbus. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 63 years,Alouida of Caribou are his children; Daniel Dubay and wife Helene of Belair, Maryland, Barbara Beaupre and husband Gary of Steep Falls, Patricia Baskett and husband David of Palm Beach Garden, FL., Harold Dubay and wife Kathy of Caribou, Robert Dubay and wife Pamela of Cary, N.C., Mary Ann Evans and husband Michael of Purcellville, VA., Peter Dubay of West Palm Beach, FL., and Julie Damboise and husband Earl of Connor Twp. One sister Ruth Ann Zenick of Sunset, LA. 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am Friday January 30, 2015 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Following the service all are invited to visit with the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments at the parish center. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mr. Dubay may do so through the Sacred Heart Bell Tower restoration project or the Jefferson Cary Oncology Clinic.
