Woodland and Caribou - Charles “Charlie” Michaud 60 died unexpectedly October 27, 2021 at Bangor. He was born in Edmundston, N.B., Canada, July 2, 1961 the son of Real and Adrienne (Martin) Michaud. Charlie was a graduate of Caribou High School, and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where he was a member of the Fred V. Brescia Council Knights of Columbus. He was a service writer for several area auto dealerships and was currently employed by Carmichael Trucking. He married Tammy Pelletier on April 8, 1995. Charlie was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends. He was a true NASCAR fan and was deeply involved in local racing. He loved racing at Spud Speedway. Charlie was a fierce competitor in his racing days at Spud and his passion for the sport and this track never waned, as he was always the first person help with anything. He especially enjoyed working in the Tech shed at Spud, checking over the cars before and after races. Surviving in addition to his wife of Woodland and his mother of Caribou are his two daughters, Candice Walker and husband Rollan of Hampden and Matia Michaud of Woodland. Two brothers; Larry Michaud and wife Joan of Caribou and Gerry Michaud and wife Pamela of Temple TX. One sister, Brigitte Commerford and husband Robert of Stetson. Two beloved grandchildren, Austin Plourde and McKinley Walker. His father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Gladys Pelletier of Caribou. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by his father, Real in 2016, and a daughter, Cassandra, in 2003. A private family service will be held.
