Cecile Norma Ruest, 82, passed away April 28, 2024 at the Caribou Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a period of declining health. She was born in New Brunswick, Canada, December 2, 1941 the daughter of the late Clovis and Marie Eugenie (Dumas) Ruest. Cecile worked for many years at Sleeper’s in Caribou, and Fitzgerald Office Supply. Cecile lived for several years in Alaska, where she worked at Artic Office Supply. Ms. Ruest was a longtime member of the Parish of the Precious Blood.
Cecile was predeceased by her siblings, Malcom Ruest, Rita Ruest, Jeannette Johnston, Simone Whitehouse, Leo Ruest, Roger Ruest and Ronald Ruest. She is survived by her very special sisters-in-law Brenda and Rena Ruest and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11AM at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. Interment will take place in the Old Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
