CARIBOU – Carol R. Robbins, 86, died December 22, 2023 at Caribou following a period of declining health. She was born in Caribou, September 23, 1937 the daughter of Edward and Velva (Thompson) Bubar. Carol attended Caribou schools and was a graduate of Caribou High School. She worked for many years as a bank teller for Aroostook Trust, First Citizens, and Key Bank. Carol was a gifted seamstress and had many families in the area who depended on her sewing skills. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She is survived by 4 of her children, Craig Robbins, Douglas Robbins, Rebecca Bell and husband Douglas Bell, and Susan Ennis all of Caribou, two brothers, Bayfield Bubar and wife Nancy of Caribou, and Ronald Bubar of Colorado, eight grandchildren, Holly Robbins, Kimberly Robbins, Jennifer Robbins, Kristi Bell, Douglas Bell II, Daniel Bell, Edward Bell, and Timothy Robbins, great-grandchildren, Keane, Kyle, Gabe, Katie, Max, Chandler, Danny, Lauren, Lilly, Will, Caleb, Elizabeth, and Bella, 2 great-great-grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Robbins Sr., and a son, Eugene Robbins Jr., four siblings, Edward Bubar, Marie Murchison, Keith Bubar, and Sharon Pelletier. Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 1PM at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor David Goupille officiating.
