CARIBOU – Mack J. Bragdon, 84, died July 16, 2023 at the Aroostook House of Comfort. He was born in Perham, June 1, 1939 the son of the late Roy and Eva (Bishop) Bragdon. He married Joan Theriault in March of 1960. Mack was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was employed at Maine Bag Company for over 52 years. Following retirement, Mack enjoyed four-wheeling. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 63 years, Joan, are his daughter, Brenda St. Peter and husband Clinton, of Caribou, a daughter-in-law, Tammy (Spinney) Bragdon, two sisters, Mattie Maynard and Alice Doody both of Washburn, his grandchildren, Christopher Bragdon and wife Raija, Matthew Bragdon, and Andrew Bragdon, and Philip St. Peter II and wife Karie, Stephen St. Peter and wife Dayna Sue, and Melinda Labbe and husband Chase, several great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nola Plourde & her husband Larry, Philip Theriault and his wife Jean, all of Caribou, many nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Tom Bragdon. The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to the staff at the Aroostook House of Comfort for the care and compassion shown to the Mack during the last few weeks. Mack’s family also wants to recognize a special neighbor and friend, Alice Philbrick who has provided Mack and Joan with wonderful help and care through the years.
