CARIBOU and PERHAM – Merton S. Bragdon, 76, died January 17, 2019 at Caribou. He was born in Perham, January 15, 1943, the son of the late Ellery and Mildred (Wilcox) Bragdon. Merton is survived by his wife, Wanda (McPherson) Bragdon, two sons, Scottie and wife Brenda Bragdon all of Caribou, and Ellery Bragdon of Washburn, grandchildren, Emily, Scottie Jr. and Dustin Bragdon, a special great-granddaughter, Rubie, brothers, Gordon of Eagle Lake, Sterling of South Carolina, and Eugene of Washburn, a sister, Phyllis Carey of Millinocket, Special family friends, Brad Jencks, Cuppy and Terry Johndro, Chris and Ashley, several nieces and nephews. Private family graveside services will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in the spring. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to everyone at Cary Medical Center and Caribou Rehab and Nursing for the fine care and compassion shown to Merton and the family these past few months.
