Caribou-Bion L. Jose, 93 passed away May 10, 2015 at Caribou. He was born in Augusta February 8, 1922 the son of the late Bion F. and Nellie (Stearns Lord) Jose. Mr. Jose was a graduate of Stevens High School in Rumford and served with the US Navy during WW II. He married Irene Louise Wedberg March 6, 1943. Mr. Jose retired from the Civil Service, where he was employed as a refrigeration technician for many years. Bion loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf with his family and friends. He was also a private pilot. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 72 years, Irene of Caribou are his son Jeffrey A. Jose, his daughter and son in law Judy Ann and Bryan Corrow, all of Caribou. Four grandchildren; Eric Corrow and wife Robin of South China, Leslie Stevens and husband Aaron of Pittsfield, Jennifer Dickinson and husband Adam and Emily Jose all of Caribou. One great granddaughter Laurel Louise Dickinson. One brother Allen Jose of Virginia, several nieces and nephews. Mr Jose was predeceased by a brother Norman, a sister Nellie Valente and a daughter in law Louise Jose. Private family services will be held at a later date at the Westmanland Cemetery.
