CARIBOU – Beverly Ann McNeal, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 23, 2023 surrounded by family in Caribou, following a period of declining health. She was born in Caribou, June 25, 1941 the daughter of the late Paul and Mildred (Snowman) Michaud. She attended Woodland School, was a graduate of Caribou High School, and then attended beauty school. Beverly was a self-employed beautician in Caribou for many years. She was a member of the Caribou B.P.W., the Pine and Spurs Riding Club, 4-H, the Ladies of St. Anne and Daughters of Isabella. Beverly was a former member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she had attended daily Mass, was a member of the Burning Bush Prayer Group, attended the Healing Services, was a part of the Sacred Heart prayer team, and the funeral choir. She had also served as a Lecter and Eucharistic Minister. Most recently she was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland. Beverly was a spiritual, loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, nana and friend. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren grow through the years while enjoying all of the events they participated in. She married Philip McNeal in 1969 and together they raised their children, Troy McNeal and wife Dawn of Springhill, FL, Tracey McNeal Cyr and husband Rob, and Teelynne McNeal Herbert and husband Jack all of Caribou. She is also survived by her husband, Rick Hallowell III, of Caribou, two stepchildren, Beth Thibeault and husband Rick, and Rick Hallowell IV and significant other Heather Harpine of Madawaska Lake, and their families, one sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Fowler of North Carolina, sisters-in-law, Marge Michaud and Shirley Michaud, her grandchildren, Samara Anderson and husband Kyle and their children Lincoln and Hudson, Sarah McNeal and her children Sofia and McKenna, Chad McNeal and significant other Kayla Dumond, Cody Herbert and wife Meredith, Carter Cyr and wife Deanna and their child Carley, Searra Herbert and significant other Dayne Savage, and Cory Herbert, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip McNeal in 2017, two brothers, William “Sonny” Michaud, and Paul “Bunny” Michaud, as well as a special family relative, Marlene Hall. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6PM until 8PM on Friday, July 28, 2023, and at the First Baptist Church of Woodland on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 12 Noon until time of services which will be held at 1PM with Pastor Troy Heald officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
