Bea and husband, Louis, married on March 20, 1944, in Caribou, Maine, where they resided, and owned and operated Louis' Grocery for over 30 years before retiring to Pinellas Park, FL, in 1978. Her beloved Louis passed away in 1993 at age 81. Bea is survived by three children, Sharon Guerrette (Kirk Stangeland) of Lodi, CA, Gary (Luanna) Guerrette of Easton, ME, and Terry (Lena) Guerrette of Westmanland, ME, three grandchildren, Curt (Kirstin) Guerrette of New Prague, MN, Wendy (Jay) Dunham of Stratham, NH, and Ashley (Tyler) Pelletier of Woodland, ME and step-granddaugher Bobbi Jo Butler of St. Petersburg, FL. Bea lead an active lifestyle throughout her 93 years. While residing in Maine, she was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was involved in Sacred Heart Church in N. Caribou. She was employed by Weight Watchers for several years and continued when she retired in Florida. In Florida, Bea was also involved in Sacred Heart Church in Pinellas Park and served the State of Florida as an elections clerk for many general elections. She was very particular about her appearance, loved to shop for the latest styles in clothing and jewelry and had weekly hair appointments to look her best. Bea loved her life in Florida where she made many friends with her outgoing personality. She enjoyed playing the organ, playing games on the computer and staying in touch with family and friends by email. She could often be seen pedaling her three-wheel bike around her neighborhood of Sunset Palms, stopping along the way to greet friends and neighbors. Bea loved socializing with friends, especially in the pool, where a group met daily to share some of their life's stories and happily chat about everything and nothing in particular. Bea always looked forward to joining friends to play Bingo and especially loved her weekly Bunco games. Her laughter could often be heard rising among the rest! A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church in N. Caribou on Friday, July 14, at 11:00 a.m. Bea will be laid to rest with her husband, Louis, at a graveside service following the Mass. A reception will follow at the Parish Hall.
