Caribou-Barbara Ann Tilley 88, died February 23, 2013 at Houlton. She was born in Mapleton May 1, 1924 the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ada (Green) Ferguson. She was a graduate of Mapleton High School and was employed as the bookkeeper for Colby Starch in Caribou for many years. Mrs. Tilley attended the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter in law George and Bonita Tilley of Olympia, WA. One sister, Lucy Lass of Illinois. Six Grandchildren, Several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews including a special niece Brenda Brookens as well as a daughter in law Barbara L.Tilley and family who took wonderful care of Mom in her final years in Caribou. Mrs. Tilley was predeceased by two sons Wayne in 1992and Dana in 2004. Graveside services for Mrs. Tilley will be held in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery at a date and time to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home Caribou.
