CARIBOU – Antoinette “Toni” Michaud, 96, wife of the late Gilbert G. Michaud passed away June 16, 2016 at her Caribou residence. She was born in Caribou, June 11, 1920 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Bouchard) Guerrette. Mrs. Michaud was employed for many years at Northern Sales, and more recently had retired from Mecon Manufacturing. She was a faithful member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was also a member of the Lister Knowlton Post 9389 VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by one sister, Orilla Thibodeau of Caribou, one brother, Lawrence Guerrette of Caribou, many special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews including a special great-nephew, Matthew Martin. Mrs. Michaud was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Edmond, Lionel, Albert, Louis, Joel, Leon, and Melvina Guerrette, Celia Theriault, and Alma Pelkey. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 6 to 8pm Friday, June 24, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Saturday June 25, 2016 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, North Caribou. Following the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Caribou VFW.
