Caribou-Anita J. Michaud, 49 died September 13, 2011 at her Caribou residence surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was born in Fort Fairfield July 6, 1962 the daughter of Norman and Verna (Pelkey) Johndro. Anita was a graduate of Limestone High School and was employed as a paralegal with the firm of Currier and Trask for over seventeen years. Surviving in addition to her husband Ronald “Danny” Michaud of Caribou and her parents Norman and Verna Johndro of Limestone are her son Jacob of Caribou. One brother and sister in law Terry and Cuppy Johndro of Caribou. Three sisters and two brothers in law Penny and Arkon Horne of Presque Isle, Lisa and George LaCasse of Caribou, and Paula Pischke of Limestone. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 7-9 pm Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday September 16, 2011 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Aaron Damboise, officiating. Following the service all are invited to a time of fellowship and refreshments at the parish hall.
