CARIBOU – Alvina Lina Marie Pelletier, 73, went home to be with her Lord December 29, 2019 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle with her family by her side. She was born in Caribou, July 16, 1946 the daughter of the late Thomas and Roseanna (Ouellette) Pelletier. Mrs. Pelletier was a lifelong devoted member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was an alter server for ten years and eucharistic minister for a number of years. Alvina was very involved in church activities, including the church choir, as well as being a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne, the Daughters of Isabella, and she made her Cursillo. Alvina was also active in the community, she was a member of the Henry V. Pratt Post 15 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, as well as volunteering many hours at the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen. She is survived by her children, Lisa Beaulieu, Elaine Godin, both of Caribou, Archie Godin Jr. of Texas, Lena Robertson and husband David, of Caribou, and Jackie Frary of New Hampshire, two sisters, Cecile Cyr of Biddeford, and Leona Chabre of Glenburn, her grandchildren, Brian St. Peter, Jessica Cross, Grace and Audrey Frary, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pelletier was predeceased by a grandson Jason Michaud. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 9am until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
