PERHAM – Sean M. LaPointe, 26, died unexpectedly November 25, 2021 at his Perham residence. He was born in Caribou, April 22, 1995 the son of Ronald LaPointe Jr. and Christine Mattoon. He was a happy child and always smiling. He always lit up a room when he walked in. Sean was a graduate of Caribou High School and loved making hats, t-shirts, drawing tattoos, tattooing, music, and glass blowing. He was a kind and gentle soul, who would give anyone the shirt off his back. He would do anything for his family and friends and he loved his daughter Athena Marie LaPointe with all of his heart. Surviving in addition to his mother, Christine and step-father Shane Whitmore of Woodland, are his father, Ronald LaPointe Jr. of Hamlin, four sisters, Britney LaPointe of Wade, Victoria LaPointe of Caribou, Emily LaPointe of Limestone, and Macey Currier of Presque Isle, his maternal grandfather Michael Mattoon Sr. And fraternal grandfather Ronald Joseph LaPointe Sr. and fraternal grandmother Sylvia Ouellette, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
