Ronald Barclay
Caribou-Ronald A. “Ronnie” Barclay 71, passed away on March 1, 2019 with his loving siblings surrounding him at his Caribou residence. He was born June 7, 1947 at Caribou the son of the late Clarence and Sylvia (Thibodeau) Barclay.
Ronnie graduated in 1964 from Governor Baxter School for the Deaf in Mackworth Island. He graduated in 1966 from the American School for the Deaf in North Hartford, CT., and attended Gallaudet College in Washington DC.
Ronnie spent over 50 years as part of the data processing department with various banks in Maryland where he lived until 2016. Ronnie was an avid sports fan and loved the Washington Redskins. In his earlier years, he played softball with the GallaudetCollege league and was on a bowling league in Damascus, MD.
He is survived by his sister Judy Barclay of Cape Cod, MA; his brother Larry Barclay and spouse Carol of Tucson, AZ; his brother Wayne Barclay and spouse Chet Waltman of Port Charlotte, FL; and his sister Paula Michaud of Caribou. He has many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins from all over the country.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 4:00pm Tuesday March 5, 2019 from the parish of the Precious Blood. Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Caribou.
Spring Interment will be at the New Holy Rosary Cemetery. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou Me. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
