Church member friend
My condolences Phil and your family. Diane and I sat in the same section of the Church. We became friends seeing each other every week. I was on the same committee at church at one time, as well. I will really miss her. She was a great friend to me.
Sincerely, Carol Norsworthy

Friend of the Family
I am so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. Your family has my condolences.

I have so many wonderful memories of when Diane opened her heart to me. I lived alone so often on Fridays I would be invited for Yusef's pizza at the McDonough house. It was there that I learned that a microwave was basically used for warming up coffee, making popcorn and cooking hot dogs. Then there was the famous French Toast incident when I sat you kids for a weekend. You all watched as I made French Toast from scratch only to wonder why I didn't take it out of the freezer and put it in the toaster like your mother did. And as soon as I left for Christmas Break your mom would spend time at my apartment wrapping all of your Christmas presents so you snoopy kids wouldn't get to them first.

When a teacher left Damon and the other teachers would have a party, she would write a special poem for that teacher. I still have mine someplace.

Diane was a special lady. I can only imagine that she and Mae will be up in Heaven laughing up a storm.

Dear Liz
I always say there is no one quite like one's mother this side of heaven. They hold such an unparalleled place in our lives and are forever in our hearts. May you and yours find peace in memories of happy times and in the One who gives peace that passeth all understanding. I am thinking of you and praying for you. With love and sympathy, Twyla

Sincere Sympathy
Diane and I attended several disciple classes as well as shorter studies. She was a delight in class. She knew the Bible and participated in all classes. I loved having her in class and always enjoyed her company. I have missed her. I am truly sorry I will be out of country for her calling hours and service. Know that she will be in my prayers. My sincere sympathy, Phil, to you and your family. Please share my sympathy with Steven and Phil.
