I'm very sorry to learn of Jim's passing. Living far away from Aroostook, I only met Jim a few times over the years, but I always enjoyed visiting with him and Cheryl. My best wishes go to Cheryl and others who had the chance to know him better.

The world lost an amazing person
I was in Mr.Martin’s art class 2005-2007. He was truly a wonderful person. He encouraged my creative skills and just me as a person. We kept in touch all these years and he stayed that same amazing and supportive person. The world truly lost someone great with his passing. My heart goes out to his family ❤️

Best teacher and artist I ever met
You will be greatly missed. You always encouraged me in my art and made high school a little less horrible. You made me laugh and I enjoyed talking video game story lines with you. I'm sorry I never reached out when I was in town to visit. I'm happy you're no longer suffering. Love and thoughts with your family. ❤
