Harold “Peter” Saunders, 68, passed away peacefully Dec. 1 at Fort Kent. A friend to all, Peter has now joined his daughter, Tina (Saunders) Cousins, and two grandchildren, Cortina and Cody, who predeceased him 12 years ago this month. He also loved to gather with family and friends for a BBQ or other types of celebrations, especially during the holidays; wanting to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He was passionate about people, and loved to make them laugh and smile. While he lived in Caribou most of his life, he did spend a lot of time in Madawaska, and lived the last two years of his life at Forest Hills Nursing Home in Fort Kent, where he made many more special friends. While there, he enjoyed visits from family and friends.
