My prayers go out to Arnie's family, and just wanted to let them
all know how much his service to the community of Washburn was
appreciated. I personally will always remember his welcome whenever
he met me or I stopped by his home. His smile was infectious and made all he knew happy. The town will always be better for everything he did
for the progress of our small village. Thank you Arnie.

In 1965 I graduated with an Arnold Devoe at Caribou High School. I was shocked to see the obituary, I hope that I have the correct Arnie.

Co-Worker
Oh Brenda! I am ever so sorry for your loss! Arnie was my go to that first year of teaching! He was always there if I had a question, repainted my room and moved things a million times. He was one in a million. The whole of Washburn will grieve his passing. He had such an impact on so many young people. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Arnie
Dear Brenda and Family,
I am so sorry to learn of Arnie’s passing. Both of you were such an important part of my Washburn years and I will never forget the great memories.
Arnie was a fixture in Washburn schools and he will be remembered by the hundreds of pupils he transported as well as the teachers he knew. I will miss knowing he is no longer in Washburn surrounded by loving family.
If it were not for distance and covid I would attend his service.
All my love and sympathy,
Cyndy( and David)

my friend Arnie
Brenda, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Arnie was a great employee, friend, and, co-worker. I often told Arnie, George, and Don we all at WDHS were so lucky to have the greatest custodial staff any school could hope for. I have so many fond memories of that smiling gentle man. Rest in peace Arnie.
