Good bye Chet
To the family, our deepest condolences.
No one could ask for a better friend and companion - to me his life exemplified the 12 points of Boy Scouts of America's ' Scout Law: Trustworthy; Loyal; Helpful; Friendly; Courteous; Kind; Obedient; Cheerful; Thrifty; Brave; Clean; and Reverent!. He will live on in my memory of the many adventures we shared in the great outdoors!
RIP, Chet

Chester Gage
Charlene, Heather and Adam, I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Chester's passing. What a kind and gentle soul he was. He left a beautiful legacy in his children and his works of art. Sending love and hugs to you all.

Dear Charlene and family, We are saddened by the news of Chester's passing. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending much love.

A wonderful man
I will always remember Chet as a kind man who loved his family and friends. My mother and father thought of him as a second son. Chet helped my mother so much in her later years with all the forestry needs on our farm. I will miss him. My condolences to his family. Rest in Peace, cousin Chet.

I am so sorry for your loss. My husband and I both worked with Chet when we first started with the State over 30 years ago. He was always kind, patient and taught me a great deal about forestry. Rich and I so respected his environmental ethic that we had him write the first forest management plan and oversee the wood harvest in our woodlot. If I had to sum up Chet in two words, can’t do it, I need three “Really Great Guy”. My condolences.

So sorry to see that Chester has passed away. Praying for your family during this sad time. There are many fond memories when we were neighbors in Caribou when Ryan, Adam, and Heather were little playmates. Our thoughts and prayers for all of you in the loss of a very dear husband and dad. The love he had for his family is certainly a treasure.

One of a Kind
This is such a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man. Chester expanded our love for the natural beauty of Aroostook County. He shared so much of his knowledge and enthusiasm with us. A day spent with Chester was a good day. So sorry for your family’s loss.

Rest In Peace
Our deepest condolences, prayers & thoughts are with all of your Family during these tough times. I grew up seeing Mr. Gage my neighbor, throughout my entire childhood and well into my adult life. One could not have asked for a more kind, loving, caring and patient man. A man of Faith and dedication to God, Family & Friends. I have had the priceless honor of seeing some of his beautiful paintings & art work, one could only guess how many of God's Animals he came across during his life time in the woods and waterways he so loved spending time in. Mr. Gage was always so quiet and patient that He probably could have snuck up behind a bear, gave it a hug and left without so much as a scratch, God's Animals must have trusted and knew him well. I can remember when he would take the snowmobile off his pick up truck to make sure that it would run when and if he needed it, and if I timed it right, I could get a short ride on back, these and countless other memories will never fade and are forever a part of my me.. Mr. Gage leaves behind a legacy of what it truly means to have done God's work on this earth, Heaven has no doubt gained a beautiful soul in him. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten, may you forever rest in peace in the loving arms of your Creator. Your Family has gained a personal Guarding Angel. I will see you again my neighbor.

Charlene and family my condolences on your loss, may your memories of him sustain you.
