CARIBOU – Bryan K. Cullins, 63, died peacefully surrounded by family at home on October 14, 2023. He is now with his Lord and mother in eternal peace. Bryan was born on September 14, 1960 in Caribou, the son of Arthur and Marie (Gahagan) Cullins. He grew up in New Sweden, attending New Sweden Schools, graduating from Caribou High School with the class of 1978. He worked alongside his parents at A&M Texaco, and then Caribou Brake and Muffler, which he turned into Caribou Midas. He then opened a new business, Sign Tech, which let him put his imaginative spirit to work. Bryan truly enjoyed being creative and made artful lettering for many businesses and vehicles in the area. One of Bryan’s passions was going fast on anything with a motor, specifically racing snowmobiles on rail beds, at grass drags or ice races. He shared this his love for snowmobiling with his children, and had many snowmobile rides with his many sledding buddies. Bryan loved spending time with his children, and his granddaughter he lovingly called “Peanut”. Time spent with family and friends in his garage (Maker’s in hand) or out admiring the nature surrounding his home are memories that many will treasure. Bryan is survived by his father, Arthur Cullins of Caribou, his two children, Matthew Cullins and significant other Ashley Usher of Gorham, and Molli Cullins and significant other Drew MacVane of Gray, sisters, Lynn Cullins and significant other Kevin Burtt, and Bonnie Theriault and husband Greg, all of Caribou, his granddaughter, Lauren of Gorham, and the mother of his children, Cathy Duffy of Caribou. He was predeceased by his mother, Marie Cullins. In addition to his family, Bryan had friends too numerous to name. His family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the many friends and family members that helped Bryan throughout his illness. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10AM at the Parish of the Precious Blood - Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
