To Launa:

Never is it easy to bid "adieu" to a highly valued friend. Amy came in to my life a few years ago after she had saved my son's life. You will recall the incident. Since then Amy, and I have had a grand time "conversing" through the telephone, Internet, and on Facebook. Once in a while our paths crossed, and we had great times chatting up a storm on those occasions. We were never at a loss for words to exchange. I shall miss them. There were times when she seemed to be a daughter rather than just a good friend. I wish I knew more people like her.

I send you my feelings of sympathy for your loss, and empathy with you for having raised an exemplary daughter who has gone on to her next form of life far too early. She lived a good life, and brought much joy to my son, and me.

Amy was a great friend growing up and it wasn’t to many months ago that I had a conversation with her about how much she inspired me through school. I looked up to Amy as an example in my academics and probably would not have made it through High School if it wasn’t for her. I will miss the conversations that we got to have!

Dear Launa,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have been so thankful for the chats I have had with Amy over the past year or so, and the chance to get reacquainted. I loved her voice messages starting out with, “Hey Cuz…” and I’m going to miss hearing from her. You are in my prayers! With love, Karen

Amy I will miss you so much my friend. I’ll miss you smile, your laugh, your “hey nick!” There’s a song called “serenaded by angels” that will always remind me of you my friend, my sister. Love you.

Launa, I am so sorry for your loss. I have thought of you often since ACAP. May God bless you with your memories.

What a privilege it was for me to have known Amy! Five days a week she blessed me and it was an honor to help care for her. In retrospect, Amy had a sweet way about her that always made me smile. Our last two weeks together we laughed, cried, reminisced, prayed for each other, and listened to Rev Mark Dunfee. Every day she would share a quote and story about her grampy. On the last day i was with Amy, she began to sing as i washed her feet and then she prayed for me. I miss her so much, but i know she is laughing & singing with the angels. God has wiped all her tears away and i am anxiously looking forward to seeing her in Heaven. Amy taught me so much and i will never forget her!
