I am so glad I got a chance to know Melva. She was a amazingly strong and beautiful lady. She always has a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. Her daughters Shelly and Brenda share the same traits. Hugs to the family !! Melva will be missed by all at Rising Hill.

My heart is saddened today as I think of Melva OBerg I can still see her beautiful smile. I miss sitting with her in the dining room helping her eat her meals. Melva and I are both from Allagash and I would sit with her and sing our Allagash song, she would laugh and always enjoyed the song. " Here is to Melva OBerg the best we have on hand, may she be remembered and honored in this land.when her blessed days are over and the curtains round her fall we will take her back to Allagash on the Moose town Cannon Ball"
