Norma took quite pride and was devoted to her husband Colonel Roger B. Ouellette, U.S. Army who served 20 years in Vietnam in charge of the Aviation Operations. She was a loving mother to her four children and navigated 20 moves successfully as a family unit.  Throughout her travels as a military wife she lived in many beautiful places throughout the United States and created long-term friendships with a large diverse group of individuals and families. Norma embraced each day with eager, anticipation and a positive attitude.  Her motto being "Don't Worry Be Happy"! With grace, Norma was determined to dance to the last dance and bring joy and smiles to those around her. Norma's lovely presence will be missed by all her family and friends. Norma is survived by 2 daughters Anne Ouellette and Julie Ouellette Giles. She has 5 beautiful grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and a wonderful brother John and wife Joanne (LaBrie) Cyr and sister-in-law Marilyn (Hay) Cyr of Caribou. Julie, Anne, John, Joanne, Marilyn and family

So sorry to hear about Norma. She was a wonderful niece to my mother; always making sure she gave her a call during the holidays or just to talk. She continued the tradition after my mother was gone and often reached out to me to catch up.

She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love, Marie Anne

Dear Cousins Anne, Julie and families,

My sister Diane and I took our first trip to northern Maine on August 18th of this year just missing Aunt Norma's birthday by two days. With gifts and cards in tow, we stayed at Leisure Village just a couple of doors down from her apartment. All of us had wonderful visits and we admired her giraffes and listened to family stories. Aunt Norma always found time to call us and keep in touch and I enjoyed many conversations with her. I will miss her very much. Deep and heartfelt sympathies to you.

Best regards,
Your Cousin Denise

My sincere condolences to the Ouellette family. I have fond childhood memories of the Ouellette family living next to our family in Caribou. We were on Lafayette St.at that time, mid to late 1950's.
