Dear Family,
I was fortunate to know & work closely with Shirley when she came into Chaplin Elem School's first grade. She came 4 mornings a week & the 5th was set aside for BINGO. She was great at keeping the kids on track by telling them to "Stop fooling around & get back to work." Shirley had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. It was the saddest day when left school for the last time.
My condolences to you all.
