Keith Tingley III
Funeral Date:
Caribou-Keith Irving Tingley III passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32 on Friday October 6, 2017. He was born on August 4, 1985 in Springfield, Massachusetts, and later moved to Maine. He graduated from Caribou in 2011 and spent most of his adult life working alongside his father in the Plumbing and Heating industry.

Keith is survived by his Mother and Step-father Carrie and Dave Bell of Caribou, his father Keith Irving Tingley Jr. of Presque Isle, three sisters; Tina Cowett, Megan Bechard, and Melissa Embelton of Mapleton. He was the proud uncle of one niece Macy, and three nephews; Chase, Matthew and Jacob. He is also survived by many special aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be especially missed by his bestfriend Chad “Chewy” Burbee.

Keith was a sensitive, caring and special friend to all who knew him. The kind of person who would give the shirt off his back and lend an ear regardless of what was going on in his own life. Keith enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working on vehicles, hunting, fishing and camping in the North Maine Woods.

There will be a private family service following his cremation. In lieu of cards and flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Keith’s name to Recovery Aroostook, 385 Washburn Road, Caribou, ME 04736.

“Addiction is the only prison where the locks are on the inside.”

“Be not burdened with times of sorrow. Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee, God wanted me now, he set me free.”

I'm beyond heartbroken I will miss you so much I love you bunches. I understand our family doesn't always see eye to eye but I hope if anything comes of this horrible nightmare that we love more and accept each other (faults included) for who we are. You will be missed so much. I will treasure all our memories together from the day you were born to you being a part of mine and your uncle's wedding to all the laughs in good and bad times! Fly high above us and freely with your angel wings my nephew!

Im so sorry Keiths passing has hit me so hard, i no ur grief addiction has controled my life until i got out of prison this last time i remember the last time i saw keith he gave me a hug and told me he was proud of me and as a addict whose found the way out i feel guilty that that and addiction was keiths down fall and that he won't be here in ten years to laugh and talk about as the stupid things we did. Weve called eachother cousins for as long as ive known him since i his dad brought him to my house. And since then he's always had my back he was one of the good ones loyal stop anything for anyone one time btw literally have me the shirt if his back. Im gonna miss him and i no it could just as easily be me if i slip even a little bit, i wanted to go to your funeral cuz i love you man and its for you and the other's lost in the last couple years that is driving me to succees ill see u wear they send the ones like us that have done bad things but are good guys. Ill always remember everytime he made me laugh im sorry hes gone.

I don't share much, trying to keep it all inside. I saw so much in your eyes, the pain and hurt. They don't just go away. I recognize it only because i see it in me. Spread your wings and fly Keith, fly as high as you can. For sadness fills us all, that not everyone gives second chances. You have my second chance flying with you, tucked under your wing and next to your heart. You never will be forgotten. Our memories will never fade. For in my heart under lock and key are the memories we made. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS COULD EVER EXPRESS!!!
